One of the UK’ s most successful rock groups Simple Minds have announced the 40 Years Of Hits Arena Tour for spring 2020.

Since dropping their debut album ‘Life In A Day’ in 1979, the Scottish rockers have topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and sold over 60 million records worldwide. Some of their biggest hits include ‘Alive And Kicking’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’, ‘Someone Somewhere In Summertime’ and ‘Don’ t You (Forget About Me)’, which featured on The Breakfast Club soundtrack.
Easy Minds are fronted by founder members Jim Kerr (vocals) plus Charlie Burchill (guitar).
The band’s upcoming live album ‘Live In The City Of Angels’ is due out on 04 October 2019. Additionally , to further mark their 40th anniversary celebrations, Simple Minds are also set to release their career-spanning compilation ‘40: The Best Of – 1979-2019’ on 01 November 2019.
