Alisson Becker has a good case to be called the best goalkeeper in the world.
Last season he won the Premier League Golden Glove and the Copa America Golden Glove.
There were serious calls for the goalkeeper to win the Ballon d’Or this year, but that seems like a bit of a stretch.
Although he may not lift football’s most prestigious individual award in December, he has been credited with one accolade, as he was named as the Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season.
The Brazilian took to Instagram to celebrate his achievement.

It should be no surprise to anyone that the 26-year-old has been given this award.
He kept six clean sheets in the Champions League last term as the Reds went on to lift the trophy.
The Brazil international was clearly very happy about winning the award as he captioned his Instagram post as a ‘great moment’.
A number of his teammates were also pleased for him as they took to the comments section to congratulate their shot-stopper.
